I got it.
When I began working out this morning, I really didn’t think I was up to reaching my goal at first. Then after some warm ups, I just decided to go for it, and I’m glad I did. :)

Today I got 195 up. Though I have to admit that I’m feeling the weight on the bench press much more then the weight squatting. I really think that I’m just a couple of days away from reaching my 205lbs goal for squats, but for the bench it is still easily a week away at the soonest. Still, I’m really excited about my progress and look forward to next week :) 15 months ago
Two days ago, I pushed up 185 lbs. I’ll be back at it tomorrow and may go for 190, if I’m feeling good. I’ve only got 20 lbs to go before I reach my 205 lbs goal, but they’re going to be a rough 20 lbs. Wish me luck! 15 months ago
My marathon recovery is over, now this goal is on! I hit the weights lightly the day before yesterday, and tomorrow it’ll be time to be back in full swing! Come on 205! 15 months ago
I’m just getting over a cold I’ve had that has resulted in about a week off from the weights.
In this time, I’ve been doing some research (about all you can do when you’re sick) and I plan on switching things up when I hit the weights tomorrow. I had been doing heavy weight at 6 reps for 3 sets; since I’ll have to drop weight anyway (to ease back into it after a week off) I plan on keeping my weight lower and increasing my reps to 12-15, and slowly bringing my weight back up to my 195-205 goal.
The idea here is to gain more muscular endurance as I increase my strength. This is with the hope that when I’m pushing up 195lbs, I don’t feel as fatigued until I get to the end of my last set. 17 months ago
Yesterday I officially moved up to 190 lbs on my bench press. I can really see the improvement so far and am happy for it. Additionally, my body weight has dropped to 197, so I am incredibly close to reaching this goal now. :-) 18 months ago
