write to my representative

If we are really a democracy, we can each make a difference with our opinions. I’m reaching out to be heard by my government.

This is one of my ‘jobs’; something I’ve taken on since I’m a stay-at-home wife. I’d like to say that it’s always worth it (and many times it has been when writing to companies, etc.), but living in Maryland and writing to Paul Sarbanes and Barbara Mikulski does about as much good as writing to a banana peel. Actually, I think a banana peel cares more about what people think…and gives your opinion more consideration too.
