How I did it: i stopped relying on crap they play on the radio and went back to when there was good music....mainly 60s and 80s music. i have expanded my music library and now have much more to listen to, instead of just leaving the tv on as background noise.
Lessons & tips: expand your options past the radio and mtv.

Step One: Buy iPod and fill it
Step Two: Buy decent headphones, expect to spend at least $100
Step Three: Buy Decent Integrated Amplifier, make sure it has phono inputs (used $200, new $700)
Step Four: Buy Cd Player, Tuner, Tape Deck, Equalizer
Step Five: Buy Speakers. Expect to spend at least $400
Step Six: Buy a Turntable
Step Seven: Buy more LP’s, Tapes, Records
Step Eight: Be Happy.

My music tastes are so diverse and really whatever I listen to depends on my mood(s)! It’s like the city I live in Toronto…ethnic/diverse! From my classical tastes to punjabi to canto or J-pop. I am always listening to music…it is always in the background. Can’t imagine life without it!

its maid me into a music freak i love music beyond the realm of some of my human relation ships. i got 13 albums of bob marley it was two box sets since then i been in love for days on end. then i also bought at few other box sets of the clasic rock gengre. i have been in musical bliss what can i say livin and enjoyin its always good to talk to you freinds who like music and find something there in to too. if any one need help finding good artist in the rock/ alternative gengre hit me up please
