Well, yesterday did not go as planned… Poop – but that doesn’t have to get me down or get in my way… I can start today. I WILL start today! :D

Today, I plan to start new. I’ll get home around 430, eat something by 5, digest till 630 and then hop on the elliptical for 20-30 minutes. No need to over do it, but I know I can do that much. After that I hope to do Pilates, but I might alternate in the beginning with just one exersize and build up to doing both in one day.
somehow i’m losing weight – my skinny jeans are falling off of me!!! :D
i’m trying really hard to get back into the game! somehow, and i’m not at all sure how this happened, but i lost like 8 lbs… ? it’s probably all the muscle i had from the pilates that i haven’t done in too long turning to fat again b/c muscle is more dense than fat, it’ll weigh more too. thus, when the muscle’s gone it feels like i lose weight.
regardless, my clothes are a lot looser…? even my “skinny” jeans are feeling baggy.
i’ve taken this opportunity as a jump start. i’ve lost 8 lbs doing nothing… if i hop on the elliptical for at least 30 minutes a day, i can blow 300 calories. -which i did yesterday!
somehow, and i don’t know how this happened either as i’ve not been on the probiotics that long (just about 3 days) but my sugar cravings have diminished. i bought a mega pixie stick the other day and it sat on my coffee table for a good few hours before i ate it. usually that shit’d be gone in seconds, wouldn’t even make it to the house.
my doctor told me that with the fiber, and the probiotic, that the sugar cravings should weaken. and while i have kinda been slacking on the fiber, too, my sweet tooth is not callin out to me all the time.
with any luck, this new motivation will help me get on the elliptical at a minimum of 30 minutes a day. 7 days a week. hopefully some of the body fat will shrink off. :D
ok, having started pilates classes and working my way towards certification, i really need to step up my elliptical routine. actually, i need to re-start my ellitpical routine. it’s been too long since i even set food on it! problem is i’m not eating right… and i am afraid to get on the elliptical if i haven’t eaten properly (i get lightheaded when i do that). but i need to start w/ 20 minutes again… build my way up to an hour. i want to do it every day.
I’m not understanding why February was so much harder than January. It’s been 2 days since I last got on the elliptical, and my roommate and I didn’t do Pilates on Friday. UG! Hopefully March will be better! With the 1st of March comes a renewed attitude, a renewed motivation, a renewed inspiration! ...hopefully!
Slowly but surely I am getting back into a work out routine. My job and it’s chaotic schedule (with having to rent 7 properties…) are preventing me from getting on the elliptical machine every day but I am at least getting on it every other day. Hopefully one property will be off the market before the end of my day today! And my tours for today were cancelled so at least I know I’ll be able to get on it today. I was on it yesterday for nearly 40 mins and burned more than 400 calories! (Then I had to go and eat a ton of pasta which probably didn’t do me any favors… and I gotta get back off the soda kick – should never have bought the Cherry Coke for the office!) But regardless – even if I don’t lose any weight, I know I’m doing it for the right reasons. I sit on my ass 90% of the day, I think 40 mins on the elliptical won’t kill me, and will definitely make me stronger/healthier! :D
Last week wasn’t nearly as good as the week before. I started a 2nd job last week that has severely cut down my days to their absolute minimum! I leave my house every day at 830, and for the most part have not been able to get back home until after 7pm, at which point I need to have a dinner of some sort and then by the time I get dinner made, eat and digest it’s too late to do anything but get ready for bed. BUT! I did manage to get on the elliptical 3 out of 7 days last week! That’s much better than not at all! I’m at 30 minutes a session, and next week I hope to bump it up to 40! I’ve already begun to see a difference on the scale, feel a difference in my clothes, and it’s provided instant motivation! I’ve come to enjoy the elliptical so much that I miss it when I can’t get to it! I never thought the day would come! :D :D :D
So, along w/ the 30 day Pilates Challenge my roommate and I are doing, I’m getting back into the Elliptical. Last week I was able to do a minimum of 20 minutes on the elliptical every day (except Thursday I think). Yesterday it finally felt like 20 minutes was too short and added 10 minutes. So this week, my goal is to do a minimum of 30 minutes on the elliptical a day. It’s gonna be a bit tough since I’m starting my 2nd job this week, but I just gotta make sure I’m able to eat throughout the day and have a respectable dinner when I get home.
so, this weekend with my sister i must have walked/jogged at least 8 to 10 miles during our race. then, i must have walked another 3-5 miles minimum at cypress gardes with my best friend. 2 people said i looked like i lost weight! so, this feels like it could be a really great start to get back on the ellipical every day and back into the 30 day pilates challenge w/ my roommate. ...got to before the cruise!! in hardly over a month!
