play more games

For real.

and bought a game for the computer that has about 150 card and board games on it. I would like to expand my game playing, but since I am usually by myself, I thought that a game like this would pass the time. It also gives me plenty of options to choose from.

This needs a lot of work. I’ve been reading more than playing!

Played Blokus with Kai again last night and I won! All but two of my pieces made it onto the board!!

Went back to the in-laws yesterday and definitely played more games. Of course we knew that we’d be playing before we got that because Sami was going to be there. We played a card game called Henry and we played a game that is just like jenga. We also played a game called Master of Movies. When it became my teams turn Meri would translate the question so that I could help. Lol, when we got to where we could start guessing quotes I got to read those because the ones that we drew were in English. It was just a way that I could do something in the game. It was actually a pretty fun game. Then we Kai and I got home we opened that game that we were given for Christmas, Blokus! I love it! We’re definitely going to be playing it a lot because I am addicted to it now. It was a lot of fun, and towards the end you really have to pay attention. So I am slowly playing more games!

When the family is together and Sami is around we play games. Last night we played Manhattan, where you have to build cities and come up with the most points, and we played Settlers of Catan again. I one the first game…yay me, and it was between Sami and I to win Settlers. It could have been either of us, but since we were playing on the table and dinner was ready we have to put it up. We’ll probably play again today when we go back. I’m just happy to be playing games. We bought him Jungle Speed. We all love that game. Hopefully he’ll bring it and some of us will get to play!

One of Kai’s brothers, Sami, loves playing games. Everytime there is a family get together we have to play a game. We got him a game for Christmas, and we’ll be seeing him Sunday (when their family celebrates. So needless to say we’ll be playing a game, and I’ll be working more towards this goal. I really need to teach Kai to play uno, and work more on Nerts.

So I’ve given up playing solitaire on the computer and started playing with real cards again. It is nice because on the days that Kai cooks, I can sit at the table and play while I talk with him. I love cards!

I am officially addicted to Civilizations III, and I have started playing my Kingdom Hearts game again. I would like to finish it so I can go out and buy the 2nd one. I could go buy it now, but I’d never finish the first one if I did.
