but along with the new face change of 43t, came the inability for me to remove things from my list without marking them “DONE”

so this isn’t “DONE” but It’s the only way I can get it off my list at the moment

so I went in and got my eye exam this afternoon
He wouldn’t give me any glasses
He said it was too late

I have an appointment with a specialist in a week

there should be no excuse for not getting this done
I’m sure though, if I work really hard, I can come up with one
I do have a doctor apt. for the new Grandbaby tomorrow
_{that should take all of an hour}
and I have to go to the library and the post office
and then….
sigh… I’m sure something else will come up
lol

The glasses I have now are an example of what happens when you think you like what you try on in the store, but it’s only because it was the best out of all the ones you tried on. Once you get them home you realize how unflattering they are. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

I’ve been putting off buying a new pair because I wear contacts most of the time and glasses are not cheap. But I’ll definitely need something better soon.

the pair I have now are so badly scratched that I can almost see better without of them. For long range, that is what I have been doing… this is quite a statement when you understand just how bad my eyes are in the first place. I am legally blind in my right eye, I can see nothing but fuzz and shadows without glasses and while my left eye is better, I still have a hard time focusing and get headaches from the strain for trying to see something I know is there…
so why aren’t I running to get them this very moment?

Wow, I didn’t realize it had been a whole year since I started “intending” to do this but my last entry is 12 months ago! Revamping goals is a good thing!

I have recently realized that I have not gotten a new pair of glasses in about three years. I finally realized this today when I had gotten a headache after I was reading for an extended period of time. Besides that they are about to fall apart. Not quite sure how I will be able to afford a new pair of glasses right now with school coming up, but they do play a vital role in my goals to become a physicist and complete my bachelors degree.

I picked up my new pair of glasses yesterday, and I’m currently wearing them.

Appointment rescheduled for 7/11 at 1:30 pm!

Having grown up with an optometrist dad, i quickly learned to make my own glasses. This has served me well as anytime i need a job, i can always find one making high-end custom glasses.
