I think you first need to read his Being and Time, but of course the correct translation. If you find a local university and decide to sign up a citizen or if you attend that university, then you can surely find the correct translation that should contain the foot notes and also his terminology. Another thing you can do, if you are having a hard time understanding Heidegger is read an introductory text concerning Edmund Husserl (his teacher). And also, read the foot notes, don’t skip anything and keep a notebook with you so you can keep notes on what you learn.
