I let everybody walk over me because I don’t like confrontation or making people mad. Well, I’m TIRED of it and I’m gonna stand up for myself because I actually matter and I don’t like being miserable just to make others feel better about themselves.

I’ve never really done confrontation but deep down I know I should stand up for myself more. The thing is I don’t want to upset people.

I honestly wish that when people say they are going to be somewhere, then they should fucking be somewhere. Or at least call. I will be damned before I try this again.

I thought I should explain the above post a bit more. I feel like I am constantly being walked on. I am so nice and so willing to help out that I get taken advantage of, and then I get overwhelmed. This is most often the case at work. This one bitter lady I work with in particular really gets on my nerves, but I never say anything to her. I usually just say, ok, and do whatever she asks, even though she is not my boss or in anyway above me in status. It is hard to stand up to these type of people, because they are tricky. They always make it seem like they are asking you for a favor, when they know fully well they are just using you. Well, if she’s willing to do this, then I know I can get her to do that and that too. Shoot, this works really well for me, why should I do anything now that I can get her to do it. I bet she was a bully in highschool.

Sometimes I feel like I am the gum stuck on the bottom of somebody’s shoe.

Stand up with out anger make the other person look like a fool, bruises and cuts will heal, but the embarassment you leave will keep you laughing.
