DO MY TAXES ON TIME

I’m done! I finished my taxes with about an hour spare to mail them in.
I should get a nice refund from the government since I overpaid this year.
And I owed the state $5.00. That’s one check I was happy to write.

I have done my taxes myself for years… probably a decade.

It’s not hard, I just have to have patience and figure it out.

Every year I wait until the very last minute to do them and I always stress out unnecessarily.
Well, this year is no different…

... now I’m just procrastinating.

Thank the lord for H&R’s TaxCut software.

I still had my ‘06 taxes saved on my computer and I’d been slacking on the state return, despite a few notices mailed my way… but today I logged on to my old TaxCut program and it remembers everything for me and I’m all returned-now I just need to party with the money!

and happy I don’t have to do this for another year!

and I just e-filed my Federal and State returns.

I after I e-filed and printed, I ordered my reward—a new handbag, pictured above. Every time I look at it, I will remember how hard I worked this weekend! :)

I have to pay a ton of money . . .

Thought I was getting a refund until I put hubby’s caregiver’s wages into the mix. I have to pay all the taxes I withheld form her pay. Yikes!

just cleaning up the last little details, but I hate those!

Seriously grumpy here . . .

Now there’s a paper jam in my printer that I can’t clear. :(

but at least TurboTax is no longer telling me I owe 20K in taxes :/
