it was worth it. here is a picture I took at the train station in bamberg, germany.
How to visit another continent.
How I did it: I went through an educational travel company called NETC with other students from my school and two other schools, from northern Wash. and NJ. It was an organized tour, 13 days starting in Paris and ending in Nice, and it cost about $5000. The hotels, breakfasts, and dinners were all included.

been to asia and northern america, targeting europe and canada this year and australia on the next.
and yes, antarctica is on my list, too!
I always thought it was kind of depressing that most of my life has been spent living in this little town that, while it has its charms, is really quite pathetic. Its even more pathetic when I realize the farthest east I have ever been is Arizona. True, I have been to Canada and Mexico, but I have never set foot off this land mass, and I really think I need to.
Visited Belize City, Belize in December! It was beautiful, friendly, laid-back. I could definitely see myself living there or going for an extended visit.
well not actually, I live in England, but the rest of the world think I’m European. I want to visit at least one more continant before I’m 40, not North America or Australia as they’re just like home, but a bit more extreme – weather etc. Maybe South America, Africa or Asia. Antarctica is too cold! I’ll keep you posted…
I visited Costa Rica for eight days in February. It was amazing!
I’ve seen North American and Europe but not any of the rest of the planet. I think Thailand is next.
