I’m going to mark this done. I’ve been boxing regularly for a while, even before my recent (within the last 2 weeks) kick towards getting in shape. I’ve now worked it in up to 5 or 6 times a week, and I’m loving it!!!

I’m actually keeping this one up!
I usually box every day, if not very frequently.
It definitely helps having the punching bag in my room. I don’t do a lot of it at a time, but just enough to get my blood moving and my heart pounding.
It feels great, and I hope I keep it up!

I hit that fucking bag so hard it didn’t know what was going on :)
I’ve been keeping it up pretty regularly too. I don’t want to be a prizefighter, I just want a fun way to get in shape.
Not that I really would ever go to a boxing match or anything, but I liked the boxing training a lot.
This is on extreme hiatus, as there’s only one good place in town to do it, and it’s closed by the time I get off of work. If I can find a personal trainer or another gym to train, I will, but until then…I must find other outlets for my stress.
I got a bag for the house the other day. It’s a floor standing model, pretty lightweight but good for banging around a bit. I’ve started doing two rounds, and I’ll build up to as many as I can do. A short term goal will be five rounds. Then I might go back to the gym for sparring.
