Went to the grocery store yesterday. Made bean salad and cornbread yesterday. Making black bean chili today. Haven’t spent any more $ on food – it’s only been a day and a half. By that statement, I really needed to cut down. Oh wait, I did spend $ on onion rings and tator tots after two beers and a shot last nite… dang it!

Makes me fat and poor. I also love to cook and I work within three miles of home, so coming home for lunch is not a big deal. I should be doing this way more than I do.
I did buy a George Foreman last week in attempts to cook more meats at home. I tried to cook a grilled cheese sandwich on it, but I really didn’t like way it turned out…which is ok because it’s probably not really good for me anyways.
I bought some real bacon for the first time in a while, but it doesn’t turn out very well on it either, which is fine by me, cause it’s bad for me too.
I think I’ll just stick to fish, chicken and steak.
I love eating out. It’s like my favorite thing to do, well not my favorite # 2 favorite although sometimes comparable. I blame my parents for my love of restaurants and fast food. They very rarely took me out to eat, so now 4 years after leaving their grasp I am still amused and excited about going out to eat. Also another very plausable reason is that I hate cooking, not as much the cooking as the cleaning up and I positively HATE leftovers (unless they are in a styrofoam box) But it is very unhealthy and I have gained enough weight and had enough $ 100 checks put on my charge card to make me want to reform !
