finish my apprenticeship

Just started my apprenticeship in stonemasonry last month and hoping that i can go all the way the class is great full of great guys very funny i seem to fit in okie so fingers crossed btw hope everyone else does well in theres good luck everybody!!!

I know I said I had finished 6 months ago but my assessor wasn’t very good and kept asking me to do more stuff, and half way through finishing the stuff saying I didn’t need it. This happened a lot of times.

I’m already 1/2 way through my Nursing Degree now, so doing the NVQ was pretty pointless for me now. It didn’t help me get on the course, I already had appropriate qualifications.

I find it riddiculous that it has taken me 18 months to something so pointless.

Week 7 (February 11th to 15th) I had my final test-week.
I were so frigged nervous all week, but I got my act together, and finished with the best grade (out of 3. Excellent, pass and fail)

First apprentice in the county that has taken that test and got the best grade for the past 5-ish years. ^^

Two more observation sessions and I’m finished :)

I have almost finished all of my written work and I only have my observations to deal with.

I had my theory exam on June 7th. I think it went good, I’m just waaaaaaiting for the results. Dunno how much longer I gotta wait. Couple of weeks perhaps?

im a girl . and im a first year apprentice butcher , with the hole world telling me that i wont be able to finish my apprenticeship . i will finish cause i LOVE what i do . dont ask me why i want to be a butcher beacuse i dont know . its just what i want to do .

I would like to finish my apprenticeship. That means i will have a trade behind me no matter what but at the moment, im starting to wish it was already over! I dont really want to do it anymore. I have roughly 20 months to go. Im not sure if i even want to continue it after i have become a senior either cause i have so many things i want to do (and become) before i die – like own my own coffee shop.

Machinist apprenticeship. I was actually pretty close. If we hadn’t moved I could have written my Red Seal last spring. Moving to another province kind of threw a wrench into it though, and I haven’t really done anything to straighten it out yet. Definitely something I need to look into. I’m not entirely sure how long I’ll stay in the trade (for now anyway), but I’d still like to get my papers.
