well…turs out i do this most days, but i can’t actually wake myself up any more. y alarm clock doesn’t wake me up. I have to be PHYSICALLY FORCED to leave my bed. Is that good?
How to survive on 4-6 hours of sleep per night
How I did it: After getting home from work in the evening microwaved a cup of the morning's coffee; spent time with my children, made dinner, bath time, bed time, etc. I then got on the exercise bike and pedaled for at least 45 minutes while either reading or watch tv. That late night endorphin rush kept me going until around 1 in the morning-alarm is set for 5:15. I make my coffee the night before to be made by 5:10.
Lessons & tips: Don't try to make other people understand-they won't.
Resources: Caffeine. Having way too much to do most days-single parent, two children, full-time job, two dogs, two cats, bunny, laundry, etc.

I’m sick of oversleeping and sleep through alarms.
I want to be awake early in the morning and go to bed late
My aim is for 6 hours sleep a night, my usual is 8-9 hours at the moment.
i do this atleast 4 nights a week, & admitt that its all my fault. i stay up – get 4hours sleep then do uni. i survive on a early morning diet redbull wich keeps me bright until i make it home. where i stay up late again. i sleep all through the weekends & mostly regret it – i miss free time with my friends. in winter i find ive slept through all the daylight hours wich can make you really sad.
aim for 6hours + a night!
It’s worth doing!! You get to experience things that happen late at night. Like I finally saw someone emptying out the little money holders on the phones!! And I went to some great late night hang outs and stores. I say go for it because life really is too short to spend it all sleeping. And then to me, it’s the best feeling ever when you’re so tired that you just melt into the sheets and have the deepest sleep you’ve ever had!!
i’ve been surviving on 4-6 hours (or even less!!) for almost 6 months now, because of college… and i can tell you is not worth it, you are tired the whole day and you have a bad humor besides you can’t get a lot of work done cause your body gets slower so you end up sleeping even less because you just cant finish all you have to do early…
Im lucky if i get 6 hours of sleep. i average 3-5 hours a night. Sometimes less, sometimes no sleep at all. Its worth it for me because im using that time to spend with the Person i love. It makes losing sleep all the worth it.
I still do this almost every night. It’s not worth it at all. After a few days of it, you’ll wish you’d have gone to sleep earlier every night before. All I can do is hope I can catch up on the sleep on the weekends.
I like my 8-10 hours sleep a day, when i can get it.
Which isn’t often enough.
