read all the books that i own

i got given loads of free books however i sorted them out and donated loads to charity. have been reading lots more though and am really getting there with this goal although its a very long term one!

i started reading two books yesterday.. decided one of them isn’t something i want to read so i’m going to donate it

What i did to help myself along with this was to separate out all the books I own but haven’t read and put them on a separate bookcase in the living room. As I work in a shop, often I get time to read so I always take a book with me which certainly helps. However, I do keep buying new books as that is my treat each month. However, I am slowly clawing my way there….and I have got rid of some of the books I have read and didn’t enjoy to free up some space.

I got rid of a ridiculous number of books when preparing to move. I am still working through books to read, but it isn’t ruling my life. I had a lot of books and it feels good to have pared down the ones that I am unlikely to read.

i have a slight problem with aquiring free books all the time.

So I am actually doing pretty well with this one. It would be going better if I would quit buying more books, but what can you do?
The problem is that several of the books are the first in a series and so I read it. I love it. Then I have to acquire the rest of the series. lol.

I do think that the stack is smaller now though. :)
