sing in front of a crowd and not be scared

My friend asked me to sing while she played guitar for a party of maybe 200 or 300 people. I only had a week to learn the song so i practiced and practiced and practiced. If you know exactly what you are doing, it will be a bit less harsh on stage. When you get on stage put a smile on your face and remember; the whole crowd is not out to get you. Someone in that crowd will like your singing.. so sing to that one person. It really doesn’t matter if some people don’t like you, because the truth is they wont say anything to you unless they’re just plain rude. Good luck on your performance!! I hope this helped.

well…i’m going to record at a studio next week because i sang for my friend who works at said recording studio and he says “you have a really nice voice, we’re recording next week. can you do it?”

jeez, i’m nervous.

when i’m alone, singing to myself,i don’t mess up, and i don’t feel like i’m going to pass out….but get me in front of one person, and i hit bad notes, have a panic attack, or just completely clam up.
i can sing.i know i can sing, the only thing holding me back is my fear of doing it in front of people…...i’ve started singing in front of my boyfriend to get over it, but it hasn’t really helped.
one day…....
