Be the hippie I really am.

It’s not really about the label.
It’s just natural.
It’s a term, about the freedom of your views to the philosphy of expressing yourself and not judging based on appearance. It’s about the freedom to do as one pleases. It’s about understanding, you make your own reality.
Getting past the lifestyle that goes with it, the appearance, your views usually, deviate with how you want to dress today, the next day and the next or, the smells that you like to wear. I like to just be natural, and wear oils, because i just am attracted to it. Be myself. I dont care what people think of me. As long as i can get my view open and across, it doesn’t matter.

OUr views are what is upon us.

We need to rise above our petty differences.

Its not about IMPOSING beliefs on others, wanting to change the world through reason and living by what you believe.

I believe in peace, as a way to resolve, conflict..
Im vegetarian because i want to help animals,the environment and our health… Even if i am as one person, It’s still help, and i can be a voice for all of those categories.
Im environmentalist, because i want to help our natural environment be the beautiful place it is meant to be, we live here and it’s to be clean, Use your voice!
IM anti war, because conflict isn’t a way to endure love acceptance and freedom

Its about being open to new experiences..
and passive.

just being non conformist

But I’d lived there long enough for it to wear off on me. :D

but last week at work i ran into some resistance. the company is setting up a 401K plan (which i certainly appreciate – helping me save for retirement is a good thing) but we have very little flexibility and very few options about how are money is invested. i met with the folks in the corner office (not hippies) and pleaded my case to allow me to self direct my monies (in socially conscious environmentally responsible funds). they’re going to see what they do to make this work within the structure… so that was encouraging. now i’ve just got my fingers crossed that it goes smoothly from here on… lesson learned. speak up. its not like anybody out there is all that surprised to learn i’m a hippie…

bein’ a hippy comes naturally, man! I think I’ll go and do a hippy like thing this very minute.

my mom has some of her old hippie skirts with bells attached. there in a box under her bed collecting dust.

for the past two years they have been screaming for me to rescue them from the dust bunnies.
