take a weekend trip with my husband

I wasplanning on going back to the same hotel we went for our honeymoon. The place isn’t too far and with a little planning we’d be able to afford it. Then, two days ago, I found out that this place is owned by my ex and his wife. I can’t believe I spent my honeymoon there! Gotta find another place to go.

I love to travel with hubby. It’s easy since we don’t have kids. And we have traveled to several places in New York and the surrounding areas on these trips. A weekend never seemed so long or so short.

Taking time for our marriage is tough with two small children. Our youngest is now old enough that I would feel OK about leaving him for an overnight trip so we really need to do this. It would really recharge our marriage to get away from the kids for an overnighter.
