How I did it: Wanting to do a series of Black and White Nudes in the landscape has been a goal of mine for a wile. However finding models willing to take part in such a project is not always easy. I was networking and I mentioned to a woman thatI was a photographer. We started talking and she mentioned that she would like to see some of my photographinc work so I gave her my card so she could find my photos on the internet. She decided that she wanted to try a photoshoot with me so we set one up. The first shoot was strictly clothed, but it was a great experance and she was so comfortable by the end of the session that she agreed to work together again on another day. The second time we worked together we shot an awesome series of landscape nudes, and she had as much fun with the shoot as I did. We got some photos wonderful photos. Read how I did it… 18 months ago

I had some nude artistic pictures taken this last fall, I would do it again in a heartbeat, very sensual and I got to see myself in a way I hadn’t before. I loved some of them so much I had them blown up and framed for my living room:) 5 years ago

I started taking photos 20 years ago. I started artistic nude studio photography 4 years ago in a university course, and love what you can do with the human body, forms and shappes, light and shadow, plus the high it gives you each time someone is kind enough to share it’s body to let you improve your artistic vision and technics. My new goal is to take 10 models in a similar context and create a small book with the best shots of this serie. 5 years ago

not the studio fine art sooo overdone they all look the same nudes. Not some woman in cheezy lingere sitting by a window.
I have this (what I think is great) idea in my head of a mix of my favorite artists; Dali, Magritte, Spencer Tunick, LaChapelle.. I love the craziness in their work, the surreal images… things that just don’t make any sense. I also love the feelings that nudes bring up and I don’t mean being perverted but how sensual a nude photo is. How calming it is.
I don’t know maybe I’m just a freak.. but I have always wanted to be a fashion photographer and have recently come very very close to reaching this goal when I have a sort of “light” turn on in my head saying this is what I want to photograph, NUDES!
Not so easy, every female model pro or not wants cash and LOTS. Then on the male response side I get a TON of dirty emails and lots of photos of guys naked holding their penis like some sort of prize.. WTF???
Isn’t there anyone out there that can see the value of art anymore?
I’m not a pervert, I’m married, I have three children and want them to be proud of my work when they grow up not ashamed.
My wife supports my ideas and dreams, my friends are willing to pose for me.. but that’s two people and I want/need hundreds of photos.
I wish I knew where to start, how to get taken serious and how to find people willing to pose nude without expecting cash. I am offering a 16×20 Archival print of the final piece..
