Hmmm, last year I got a few things accomplished, namely a nice new rose plant and lavender. I had two rose bushes but one (the red one) got a nasty mold that I could not get rid of, so I dug it up and trashed it. No use having it spread to my good one. My two miniature roses are doing good, I replanted and they came up nicely and were still flowering when I left in November. I got to prune back my white rose- I have been out of town and it had grown quite b it taller. So I think I will do that today and clean out the beds a bit if its not too stormy outside, and that will be about it until springtime.

ok i have 76 plants started and most are vegies and herbs: red peppers, a couple tomato varieties, lettuces, rosemary, basils, chives, lavender, ect. Some annuals: peonies, pansies, sweet peas, violas. A few are fun house plants: buddhas belly, desert rose, living stones, ect. I repotted all of my existing house plants into pretty ceramic pots, and fertilized them.
I got some awesome heirloom moon&stars melons that are so freaking unique! I’ve started a bunch of those so I can give everyone I know who is into garden a melon vine, as well as hand out the melons when they are done growing. Bunch of sunflowers as well are going to be handed out. Steve gave me his garden grower collectors set that took him years to acculmulate and add to. He is awesome!!!!
I love growing!

Sprouts!! 3 years ago

I’m going to have to get an indoor light so they don’t wilt. My lettuce and chives sprouted in only one day.:)

Ok, so I won’t have my dream garden this year, but I just started a mini indoor greenhouse for some seedlings that will go outside in my patio garden this year. :)
