1. I realized that I could change my approach to people, and be confident as I faced meeting them.
2. I realized that I could do math, work hard and achieve success, and that then it was easy.
3. I realized that I was my father’s son, and my father was a mortal man, a human, and I should and did forgive him.
4. I realized that even if my heart was broken, I could and would survive.
5. I realized that pacifists have to confront the realities of war and the corporate-industrial complex. But we can still strive for peace.
6. I confirmed my acceptance that I am my father’s son. We can’t help being born with our infirmities. We can strive to overcome them. We must forgive if we are to be forgiven.
