Grow flowers from seeds successfully.

This has definitely been worth it! And at my new place I have some outside space that I can use to plant more flowers next year! :)

If 43T isn’t enough of an addiction, let me introduce you to the Gardenweb forums. One of my favorites is Winter Sowing. You can grow hundreds of plants for only a few dollars. Oh, yes, many have become adicted to winter sowing.

Another type of flower in the forget-me-not pot is starting to bud, too. I really like planting flowers like this…I’ll have to do it when I get my own place again. :D

Yea! It’s a forget-me-not flower. I can’t wait for the others to bloom!!! This whole experience has made me realize that gardening isn’t something I should be scared of. I enjoy doing it on a limited scale.

I found out from someone who knows a florist I’ve been watering at the wrong time of day. I’d been watering in the morning, but I was told that evening was best. They still look okay, though. I started watering in the evening today.

Both sets of plants in the flower pots are still growing, but no flowers have appeared yet. I’m continuing to water them daily, because it’s been so hot.

have sprouts growing in them, now! I’ve been watering them every day except one day since I planted them, and that was because I forgot. But, they’re making some good progress. So far, so good. :)

We have no rain forecast until Tuesday, and it’s below a 50% chance then! I took advantage of this fact and planted my seeds today. I’ll have to remember to water them daily since it’s going to be so hot during the day. I wonder if there is any best time to do the watering: morning, afternoon, night? I really hope that these grow well, I guess time will tell. I can see why people like gardening, it is kind of mind relaxing.
