finish the Monopoly Release Challenge

I finished this release challenge with another walk through Zurich yesterday. So by now, I’ve released 40books, seen places in Zurich I haven’t been before and had more than one nice walk…
The whole thing was so much fun, I enjoyed this challenge tremendously!
Thanks to “Somebody” for organizing it so well! It was great and I hope there are still others out there playing and having fun…

40 books and 3 month! That’s what it took to complete this goal. Now that the last book is released, I don’t know exatlcy what to feel. I’m excited about having done it. It was my first big release challenge after all. But the challenge has been with me for months now and I sure will miss it. Oh well, all it will need is another challenge of some kind. Always along the lines of getting more involved with bookcrossing.

today was a wounderful, sunny day. I was in such a good mood, because I’m having time off and could read through the whole last night, without feeling guilty! :-)

So I decided to walk through Zurich this afternoon and release as many books for the challenge as I feel like. (I took twelf with me, of course the thinnest ones…)

I had a great time, enjoying every minute of it! There were a few places new to me, so I got to know a little more of this city.

Now I’m having 28 fields covered, still there are twelf left. A few other walks I’m looking forward too :)

I’m glad that Somy extended the duration of this challenge.
I’ve still 23 books to release and it will be much more fun to do this with time on my hands…

My 20th release challenge book found its way into freedom yesterday evening. This means that I have another 20 books to go. The trouble is, there are not too many books to release left on my bookshelf. I will have to read faster then.

There’s a new bookcrossing release challenge that we’ve started in Zurich called “Monopoly Zürich”. My goal is to release a book for each of the 40 squares.
