my grandpa passed away a little over a month ago. All i wanted to do the week before he died was go visit him. I still have that need to go see him but i can’t. all i want to do is see my poppop one more time <3

I Flew into St. Louis on Friday morning drove to Decatur, IL and saw him from 11a-7p. So 8 whole grandpa hours. Then I managed to meet up with a friend from Highshcool, and my best friend from College. Flew back sat at 5p. Got the last flight out too. Airport was closing due to ice. Thank goodness.!

Since I moved to Dallas in May 04, I have not seen my grandpa since. I miss him, and I really need to go for a visit. He lives in Decatur, Illinois like 2 hours outside of St. Louis. I think I’m going to try to fly out on Friday to St. Louis rent a car and meet him for lunch. Then fly back that night. It’s a lot of flying, but I don’t really have time to stay much longer. While I’m there I need to see my friend Felicity from University, and my friend Susan from High School. I think I’m going to do this. Especially since he had a heart attack last year. This is top priority!
