have my own pet

I’m still at university, so the prospect of owning a pet for the time being is unreasonable, and as such I don’t really want one just yet. But this goal is intended for when I have a stable home and a job/family around which I can consider having a pet in rational terms.

Ok, so maybe they aren’t my very own, but that is bc I live with my boyfriend. we now have 25 fish (including a baby guppy that is 2 days old) and a new puppy of 8 weeks old. a fabulous black standard poodle!

This sounds sooo easy, but I travel a lot and for long periods of time. I always rely on other people’s pets for my furry fix. I’d like to have my own one day, but don’t want to let the little guy down if I have to leave.
