Somehow, watching foreign films taught me more Eurospeak than a book or a dictionary. But watching a lot of indie flicks could eat up so much time. Eventually, you get lucky & actually catch a flick that’s not about shock value. There ought to be a 24-hour worldwide channel featuring nothing but foreign & indie flicks! Went to the Indie Film Festival in my city the other day and stayed for 2 full length films and some shorts. It was throughly enjoyable…will definately start watching more indie stuff, much better than Hollywood junk.
