fix the dishwasher

Finally!!!! Got the check, ordered the replacement dishwasher, received it in record time and my brother promptly hooked it up.

Even better is the replacement one is a new and improved model so I’m really happy about that. 5 years ago

and was told I should’ve gotten the check around the first of Feb. but they are backed up and have been working overtime sending out checks in big batches.

so i’m definitely getting a check, they just can’t tell me when. 5 years ago

called the company to find out where my check is and was told it takes up to 2mos to get it and it should be coming in a few weeks.

well, it’s been a few weeks and still no check so i need to call again. 6 years ago

Finally i ahve gotten around to actually fix the dishwasher. I have had this since i moved into this house about 2 nd a half years a go and have never actually fixed the bottom of the dishwasher. Now i have and it only took a few minutes it looks so much better. 6 years ago

was looking through a folder and found a paper that showed i’d purchased a product replacement insurance at the time i bought it. I’d misfiled the paper and wouldn’t have found it if I hadn’t of been looking for the code for the software on one of my other “Things” of recording my LP’s to mp3’s.

called the product replacement people and was informed to cut the power cord and mail it to them and then they’d mail me a check.

took a while but my brother finally got it sent off via UPS, so now I wait.

checked around to see what the cost now is and found the same dishwasher at Wal-Mart online, of all places, at a cheaper price than I’d bought it at several years ago!! Woohoo!!! I just hope it’s still offered by the time I get the check. 6 years ago

found out the repair place here doesn’t sell parts, it only repairs and the charge just to bring it in is waaay too much.

i called the co. for pricing on the water pump and it’s a bit expensive so i’m gonna have to wait a little, but at least i know i can order the part and how much it’s gonna be. 6 years ago

my brother and i both checked it out and nothing obvious. so my brother took it apart and figures it’s the water pump that’s out. i found the manual and authorized repair places list and gave it to my brother who promised to do it … and yet there it sits.

i might have to take action myself. 6 years ago
