i am a house lover and is lookin for a game like this to keep mii occupied for a while
How to build my dream house
How I did it: We were lucky enough to find a home last year with a view of the valley. We bought plans and had the idea of building our dream home on the land we owned. When our home went up for sale it took us a while to decide, but we made the right decision. It was perfect and we love it.
Lessons & tips: We kept the dream of building alive, but also looked at homes for sale due to the market. The home we got was cheaper than what we could have built and we only want to change a few minor things.

I want the perfect house for me and my freind. She’s like my sister, so we’re gonna live in the same house. A BIG HOUSE!

A two-storey house with huge columns in front and a small atrium inside. A room for my mother. A huge room for me with its own huge bathroom and closet. A huge library. A den. I don’t know how all these would fit but it’s my dream house anyway. ;)

I remember even as young as 10, I would go through the Sunday Paper and analyse the house designs in the Home Section. I would try to construct how the 2D image would look in a 3D imagination and troubleshoot various possibilities.
I am no architect.
I did consider it as an option years ago though.
What I would like to do, is to design and have built our dream home. I’m not talking anything fandangle crazy big, just comfortable enough for my family and for modest entertaining. Small enough to be ‘home’ and big enough to offer a room to foster kids.
As I am still a student, and we’ll be on one wage for some time (after we stop popping the babies out), this goal will most likely not be realised for a few years.
In the meantime, I will continue to dream, imagine and research it all…

No money and married to spouse that doesn’t have the same dreams, or really any dreams! Yikes!
I have this house in mind that I want to build. It would, of course, be close to the water. I’m thinking maybe a lake that is nearby. And I would like to have a significant amount of land for privacy. Definitely a long term goal!
seph is stoked!
Once I’ve racked in the bigh bucks from doing my work in the hospital (by that time I’ll be married to a lovely wife, and we’ll have two kids and a pet dog and iguana), I’ll start this mammoth of a goal.
The fact that I live in New Zealand is already great. I plan to build a house near the sea (so that’s pretty much everywhere in NZ) with huge windows overlooking the wonderful seaview. I will have a wide deck so that we can have barbeques every Sunday. I picture a simple house with five rooms (simple eh), a big kitchen, a two storey living room…gosh it’s a tad hard describing this in words, I wish you can see my vision, but it will be totally sweet and filled with awesomeness.
GAH, I knew I shouldve been an architect.
Ah – Sweet Land of Liberty awaits. 53 acres on the side of a mountain with views to die for. But – got to sell a few other properties first. Hope the housing market turns around.
as an architecture student i know how thrilling it can be do design and build something of your very own. i haven’t achieved this on a full scale yet (since i haven’t graduated :P) but one day i want to be able to help people do this, as well as do it for myself! it takes a lot of hard work but its possible. i’ve seen it happen. everybody keep trying and you can make it happen for yourself!
