I once wrote her a letter and told her about the circumstances surrounding the adoption of my dog, Maggie. I usually don’t write to celebrities, but knowing of her love of animals, I wanted to share my story. About 2 weeks later, I found a message on my answering machine from her in which she said she actually cried after reading my story. I wish one day I could meet her and thank her for not only calling me, but for all the good she does for stray and abused animals.
