heres my plan:
Starting tomorrow, I’m setting a limit of computer time.
I can only spend 4 hours on the computer each day, and an hour and 30 minutes straight (or in other words, without a small break). The only expection is if I have something important to do like a project on the computer.

I’m always fooling around on the net and telling myself that I’ll do other things later, and then it becomes too late to do anything.
Ugh, I hope I can do this one.

So I’ve decided to write letters instead of emailing, just so I can get rid of thise glaring bright screen at ungodly hours of the morning in front of me.
Good idea? Everyone loves letters.

OK here’s what I did yesterday towards this goal:
I created a “Top 10” folder in my browser for my top 10 sites … these are the ones I absolutely can’t “live without” and have to visit each day for news and information. Of course it actually ended up being closer to 20 websites … but some are just “quickies” like traffic, or checking a nightly television show to see who the guests are …
Of course, I could STILL waste a whole day on the web on just these sites alone … but it’s a start. My next plan is to set some time limits … i.e. get all my web browsing done before 9am, and then again at night for an hour or less …

I figure I dont really want to do this, even though I probably should. The internet is a great source for fun and knowledge. I use it to keep in contact with friends. So nope, still gonnas fool around with out restrictions :)

I guess the trick is to have sometime for work and sometime were Im allowed to fool around on the net without feeling guilty..

Who has time to fool around on the net when you are busy as hell? I am lucky to be able to get on it once a day and check my mail. Sometimes I miss it, but usually I am way too swamped to even think about it!
In fact, have to get offline right now! Lol!
