Do a little thesis writing every day

I had been thinking that it was time to start writing, whether or not the numbers were done. My advisor disagrees. Guess who wins? So yeah, I’m still churning out numbers, and I’ll start writing later. My friend swears it only took him a week (he and I have both published and presented our thesis work before), which would be lovely, but I still need to build in time for the committee to read the damn thing.

Thesis is due in 2 or 3 months.

I’ve been pretty bad about this goal as of late… but maybe it’s OK. I’ve been taking data that will go in the thesis and I’ve also been reading up on the nitty-gritty theoretical details of the theory of liquids (trying to get a really solid grounding for glasses).

In any case, I want to try and march in the ‘07 graduation. Given the amount of data I need to take, analyze, and talk coherently about… I should really get back to this once I return from my West Coast trip.
