There are so many things I want to get done and what do I do? I come home after work and lay around. That is NO life at all.
I need to start doing more after work and being less lazy!

How I did it: Being lazy is most likely a label that somehow attached itself to me n I hated it. Now I know laziness is a state of mind.Admitting that I was indeed lazy was the hardest part of it all.If you can't accept n come to terms with it,you cna't make an effort to change. The first I had to do was stop delegating...and get my butt off tht couch n get what I wanted.... the remote, the glass of water, pizza,my books, the newspaper...etc.Once I st… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've just come to realise if I want to do something then I will. I still have barriers between where I am and what I want to do, but if I want to do it I know I can do it now.I just need to stretch and do the things I want to do. Read how I did it…

I’m a really smart, intelligent guy. Educated, full of great ideas of things to do, but I always feel unmotivated to do them. I tend to be addicted to doing things that require little or no effort, and would rather procrastinate than stay focused on a task.
It happens with goals like getting fit as well. Working on my company which I started a year ago.
I could do so much more, be so much more.
What do I do?
I tend to be a little too lazy, if someone asks me to do something (depends on what it is), they have to ask me at least two times, and if you’re lucky i’ll stop with what i’m doing and getting on my way.
It is getting a little less worse, luckily, but i’m still too lazy.

im so lazy that when im hungry i cant be bothred to make myself something. i dont do things that need to get done and my days are always waste. I want to look back at yesterday and think i did something useful.
My biggest problem, I think, is not being able to finish what I start. I have a strong tendency to begin something, get distracted or just plain give up, and not finish what I started. It’s big things. It’s small things.
For example, just the other day I went to the pet store and bought a big bag of dog food. I lugged it into the house and opened it to fill up the dog food bowl. I took the rest of the bag downstairs to put into a storage bin. But I never put it in the bin. I just left the bag by the bin. What’s up with that. I went through all those steps and never completed the task. I know it’s something small, but why didn’t I just finish what I was doing?
Part of it is laziness.
Part of it is distraction.
I tend to put things off saying to myself “I’ll just get to it later”. But later either never comes, or comes when my wife nags me for the 10th time to get it done.
The best example I can give is this: I started to read the book “Getting Things Done”, but I stopped reading after the 25th page.
lottielemon x helllooooooo :)
i am sooo lazy its unbelevable.
I bring my lemonade on the bottle from the firnge and out it next to the sofa so I dont have to get up to refill my drink.
:( ashamed
yoskidd seems like I need money to do all this...
I’m thinking that if I do this, the others will all kind of fall into place. School, work, getting up early, a lot of what I think is holding me back is just that I’m lazy sometimes. I miss class. I hold myself back in lots of ways. Sounds easy. Maybe now it will be. I need to take matters into my own hands and just do it. Everything I do, just do it. No hesitations, no excuses, just do it. So Lazyness will be gone soon. Yes.
i noticed that when you are too lazy to do anything, even small things, you would end up achieving nothing and it doesnt make you feel usefull at all.
leahmariee is taking on the world one day at a time
This might be something that sounds simple to change but for me it’s not and I have been fighting it for years! I don’t want to be lazy but it’s more about me being TIRED all the time. After awhile I thought maybe me being tired was a medical condition or I had low iron. I went to the doctor and she checked me out and told me I was fine and healthy.
After that I was reading in a book that if you start to be lazy and less active your body gets used to that so when you try and start being active again your body resists because it is not used to it. This is something I am going to have to work on one step at a time.
