see a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre in London

I always wanted to do this, but put it off because of the tourist crowds. Why did I wait so long? Sure, I didn’t see a single Londoner, but the quality of theater was well worth it. I paid £5 to stand in the yard, which as far as I’m concerned is the best seat in the house. You really feel like you’re part of the action, plus you have enough money left over to buy yourself lunch. :)

I have seen plays in different theatres all over England, but watching Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Globe Theatre was the best experience ever.

I saw it standing by the stage, and did not once think about the fact that I was standing for several hours once the play started. It is the best place to see Shakespeare’s work.

The Comedy of Errors- Yaaa, this was fun. The audience got into the act and had the actors and me cracking up, brilliant.

Titus Andronicus- Ohhhh, this was dark, everybody dies, lots of gore (simulated). Still the acting had you thinking you were in it.

Coriolanus- Ohhh Ahhh, Not as dark as Titus, but still woven with anger, murder and mayhem.

I’ve sat all over the theater, and stood in the yard, 1st balcony center was still the best.

I’ll try to go one more time this season
