I went to Happy Foot and I got a massage with my mom and my sister. It felt great :-) I hope to do it once a month!
How to get more massages.
How I did it: I decided to place more priority on keeping my body and mind feeling good by getting massages when I wanted them, despite the fact that they are so expensive in the UK.
I then managed to get at least one massage a month and plan to continue to do so, it's really just about booking them and spending the cash and not feeling guilty about it.
Lessons & tips: Put yourself and your wellbeing first!

I had a great foot massage with tiger balm from a friend whilst travelling in NZ
I had 3 different thai massages in thai land, all very good if a little painful, very enjoyable to have a massage by the sea in the open air.
Had a good massage in Luang Prabang in Laos, a Lao traditional massage but very similar to thai massage.

I had a thai massage at a festival once and I think it’s the best I’ve ever had.
I’m booked in for an hour long thai massage tomorrow evening, with a 12 year experiences thai lady. I can’t wait!

When I left my job they asked me what I wanted for a leaving present. Given that I already have so much crap and am trying to reduce my belongings, I asked for spa vouchers so I could get massages.
I ended up getting a 45 minute aromatherapy massage and a 30 minute hot stone massage.
The hot stone thing is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it!

I feel like I am splurging on myself when I am able to come up with the 80 for a massage. I feel relaxed and special when I am able to do it.
