We read this book in my French class. It was really great practice for my french. This book is really funny as well. I love it! Definitely worth doing!

read it with the english version right there with you, it’ll help a lot. it doesn’t always translate literally though, so don’t get distressed by that. it’s really a beautiful, beautiful book—i cried at the end :]
I picked it up last night, but didn’t read it. I’m still reading a little here and a little there, but it is a lot easier to stay in the mode – especially when I haven’t used any of my french in a long time, not that it was that good to begin with. Alright, it was alright. Now I’m rambling.
I think it is much better in French than in English. There are very subtle differences in meaning when you approach a text in the language it was first written in which get lost when they are translated. It is a WONDERFUL book regardless and everyone should read it.
It was laborious – I actually cheated by peaking at the English version every once in a while. After I got through the book in French , I read it through again in English. Why do they make you read those heavy books in language classes. Everyone remember “The Stranger”
I have had this on my list for about a month and just bought the book. The pictures help to understand what is going on when I get a little lost. I’m only a few pages in, but I’m excited.
i tried my best, and i was suprised how much i had doubted my french proficiency! despite saint-exupery’s delicate language, the gist of the words was easy enough to grasp and i made it through pretty well. yay!
J’adore le petit prince! Il est magnifiqe. On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux. Les grandes personnes sont tres bizarres!
Yeah, I just wrote an essay on this for my college level french midterm, yase!
Hot Toddie Schoonover has 50 days to run 400 miles
I read this during French 4 or 5 back in high school. I hadn’t been introduced to it in English, so this was my first exposure to the little prince.
This is an awesome book. Only took two and a half years of french in college. If I’m ever in the desert…
