get a roomate

I have put up a posting looking for roomates, so far, no response, but im still optimistic!

Well, not much happening on the literal home front. Still hoping to find a friend of a friend who needs a place to live. Getting more and more concerned about the expense of a home without another to share. What shall I try next? Must be more proactive here and think of some good ways to get the word out.

Well, so far wishing and hoping is not doing a thing. Every few days I run across more people to tell about the opening, but the local paper charges $284 for a 22 word ad in the share home/roomate section and I can’t afford that. I’ve made little flyers with a photo of the house and send them with people from work and those I meet that I think will be interested. Not sure my next course – even tried Craigslist and bestroomate.com. Sigh…
