go to more gigs

on tues, i wanted to go see mayday parade and 4yr strong…SOLD OUT!
tonight i wanted to see finch and envy on the coast…SOLD OUT!

blah, the moral of this is i need to buy tickets in advance!

it was my 21st birthday :)
went and watched crystal castles, friendly fires and team waterpolo on an nme new noise tour. was awesome! danced my ass off, only bad thing was crystal castles didnt play a very long set. team waterpolo were also awesome

Went to Groezrock festival on Saturday, it was brilliant!!!
Saw Bad Religion, the Bouncing Souls, Story of the Year, Agnostic Front… + Great sunshine!!! Loved it:-)

give it a name festival was awesome!! so many good bands that i enjoyed…4year strong, the blackout, anti-flag, billy talent, paramore etc

my ultimate favs had to be the audition (always amazing <3<3) ...and danny crowd surfed and i got a good feel ;)
oh, and cobra starship blew me away. i mean i like their music so i knew they’d be good, but they totally took me by suprise with just how much stage presence they have. definately off to see them again next week when they’re on tour with all time low.

only dissapointing band was the plain white t’s…not because they were rubbish, im just not really a fan lol.

saw a band called alabama 3. never heard of them before lol but was working it. i figure i should still write down all the bands i see just from working even if i dont buy the ticket because…well, im still there arent i? and i do see the whole gig because most people buy drinks when the bands are setting up and not when they’re actually playing
anyways, was generally an older crowd and the music was kind of country/electro? was alright though. didnt dislike them.

i was working and wouldve loved to have been in the crowd but ahhh well at least i got to go. man that guy has so much energy…and they stayed for ages afterwars signing and stuff.
the crowd were amaing too all dressed up in their rave gear. such good energy!!

definately off to see them again if i get the chance!!

Yesterday, totally awseume! Every time i go i think why don’t i go to more, but i think its kinda a lack of some money and time off, anyway summer cuming up so should have more time to do this :D

well, i got a job at the manchester academy now so on the plus side, i reckon ill be at a lot more gigs from now on. on the down side, ill be working. lol

Went in December. this was a fab nite! all the girls together. me and my mate tried to push to the front, ppl didnt like it haha.
