I always end up snacking non-stop and then I end up trying to skip a meal. But instead of not eating the rest of the day, I just end up snacking more. I want to get to the point where I can just eat 3 solid meals a day. I did this when I lived overseas with basically no snacking and I’ve never felt so healthy, so I know it works for me. I have been trying to overcome this for a while, but my emotional eating always comes back. I will be patient with myself this time.

The good thing is that I haven’t spent money on buying food in the past two days. But it doesn’t really count cuz I live with my family and commute to school and i pack lunch from home..and snacks. Today, I came home early, and I was just snacking on nutella & bread, cereal, instant oatmeal and chocolates. Terrible..I know!

Chocolate is the devil food for me, this includes nutella. I will have to make a very serious goal to just have a small amount and enjoy it to the fullest when I have it.

In the next two days, I’m going to try to eat three straight meals with two snacks being apples with two cups of water at each snack.

I should not:
Think about my temptation foods while eating the meal, what else I could eat etc. I have to enjoy the smell, texture, taste, warmth of the food I am blessed to have at that meal.

Also, I’m going to look for the book by geneen roth about beating compulsive eating.

waitressing on the weekend nights messes me up. cuz I usually don’t eat dinner before hand and won’t eat till late, or snack throughout my time at the restaurant.

Also, I’m a sugar addict, emotional eater and an overeater. Been steadily getting worse for the past 2 years… I’m accepting now that I’m going to be struggling with this for another 2 years or more to break this bad habbit I’ve develop. And so I’m going to reestablish eating well.

So..here’s the plan.
Breakfast – not nutella and bread, gets me charged for more sugar. Protein protein protein! eggs, tuna fish, miso soup, leftover dinner..
Lunch
Dinner

I guess I should still have a morning and lunch snack, can’t expect myself to get into the three meal thing right away. so i’ll bring two oranges. Have two cups of water with each snack. I’m also aiming to drink 8 glasses of water a day!

challenges:
giving into sugar cravings. I just have to believe they will lessen after 2 weeks and think about that freedom!! FREEDOM!

weel, I guess it didn’t work out – I mean eating 2 times a day – I’m starwing all the time, so I decide eat three times – 1st breakfast at about 8 am, then second at 12, and some dinner in the afternoon, but not later than 6 pm. It’s quite good, don’t you think?

I’m thinkink of re-ordering this goal, because, at the moment I’m trying to eat 2 meals a day – the 3rd meal shows up from time to time, when I’m really hungry, but never after 6 p.m.
we will see how long it will takes

Although I haven’t eat as healthy as I should. So this goal is still to complete.

this is what’s my diet all about. So it’s a very similar goal, but has it own way to do it. One thing is eating 3 times a day – another – eat the right things and lose weight as a result. At least I hope so :P
