Worth doing!
SNOWBOARDING IS SO GREAT!
I totally recommend it!
It’s very fun, but after a week of it, your coccyx does hurt for a while from all the falling over.
:D
bella_rtw is on holiday!
but never tried snowboarding. may the games begin. I know who i want to teach me but it would be naughty.
Worth doing!
I survived a couple of lessons, but I am nowhere near proficient! But, I’m sure it is something I will try again if I’m ever in Whistler with Sam & Crystal.
JessaLee is catching up
loved it, was doing great…then…broke my arm- and I’m out for the season. ouch =(
Worth doing!
Just came back yesterday!
Went to Interlaken (Switzerland), 5 days solid boarding 4 & a half hours a day on the slopes, time of my life, worth doing! Now I’m able to ride recreationally at my local snow dome as well so boarding doesn’t need to be expensive…Really is fantastic guys so get going if you haven’t yet!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve always wanted to, but I’m too nervous! Sometime in life I will at least attempt this.
I am still struggling with learning how to snowboard. I think I am trying to ski not ride as I am a skier from the past. I also think that my hesitation to pick speed keeps me from learning. The instructor I had so far said I have a fraidy cat stands as I lean back on on hind leg rather then staying centered. I can do a heal turn but anytime I align myself to do a toe turn I quick fall. I have been told by a friend who is on his third year that it just takes time, so I am trying to just get more time on the slope but I am not convenced yet that I will be able to learn how to do it enough that it will be fun.
