I’ve seen a few comets, by far the brightest being Comet McNaught that came by early 2007 (because it hasn’t been by in ages – estimated hundreds of years – it had a really bright, fresh tail).

The one and only time I saw a shooting star was when my dad and I, who have more than just a passing interest in the stars, were star-gazing, and he said, “Hang on a sec, I’ll just go and get my telescope. See if you can spot a shooting star.”
And just at that moment, as he went inside, I SAW ONE. It went, “schloop-oof-ish” (that’s the sound I make to describe the visual). It was over in one second. It was also one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And also really hard to describe… the head glowed and the burst into a tail that was quickly snuffed out. That’s the best I can do.
So when Dad came back out, I said, “You’ll never believe it, but I actually saw one.”

Timid Magick should come back here more often. These goals are important.

Canada is my dream country for long. I am gathering information about this country, for when I come there, to know everything and to feel myself ready for fun!I found some curiosities about http://www.geo.sitescart.com"> Canada and falling stars too!

Falling star? Well, I’ve seen meteors, and a couple of them were incredible. One that I saw in 1988 in Canada and another in 1989 in New Hampshire actually made a sound. And I wasn’t using hallucinogens, either. They really did make a hissing sound like fire.
I also have seen a couple of comets but not very well.
