we used to be members of a cheese club where we got together as a group once a month and ordered cheese at wholesale and then took turns cutting the blocks and wheels into the sizes people ordered. We often tasted what others had ordered so we’d know if we wanted to order it the next time.
My favorites are:
Wensleydale
Tillamook cheddar
Creamy havarti
Pepperjack
Provolone
Edam
Gouda
Jarlsberg Swiss
Parmesan
Mozzarella
Brie
Stilton

Last night we had…
- Cheese and crackers – brie, cheddar, pepper jack, havarti with herbs, and Jarlsberg (similar to swiss)
- Garden salad with goat cheese and 3-cheese balsamic vinaigrette – parmesan, romano, asiago
- 4-cheese pizza – provalone, (parmesan), mozzarella, and (cheddar)
- Rotini with 3-cheese marinara sauce – (parmesan), (romano), and ricotta
- Graham crackers with cream cheese (tastes like cheesecake ‘cause that’s what it essentially is…)
Holy cow! That’s a lot of cheeses! 5 years ago

I know I am interpreting this goal a little differently than other people in that I want to have ten cheeses at one sitting. It’s my turn to host a weekly dinner for my group of friends, and I’ve decided to make this week’s theme the “ten cheese dinner.”
My plan is to have 2 or 3 cheeses with crackers, maybe a 4-cheese pizza and some sort of 3-cheese pasta. I’ll have a little leeway if I can come up with one or two other cheese dishes. The trick will be making sure I end up with ten different cheeses. 5 years ago

Mozarella, Parmesan, Munster, Provelone, Brie, Swiss (several different types, like the kinds you use to make fondue, mmm!), Gorgonzola (yum!!!), goat cheese, bleu cheese, American… that’s 10. I know I’ve tried others, and I’d love to try some more French cheeses, can’t beat em! 5 years ago

I think I’d like to have a wine and cheese party with my friends once I finish moving.
Perhaps after I have a fondue party. 5 years ago
