On my way to school I found a kitten on the highway, the poor little thing almost got hit. I ended up having to take him to class with me, but now he is safe and has a full belly. he is the sweetest thing!

How I did it: I went hiking with friends, and a cat some jerk had abandoned in the woods came up to us about half a mile into the hike. she was so skinny and had a bad wound. we turned around with her, and immediately went all over town findng some place open and willing to help us. she's very happy and healthy now. :) Read how I did it…

Anytime you can save an animal it’s well worth it. Animals are my life and I’d do anything to help them. I’m currently studying pre-vet and one day I want to have a huge rescue center. And I will tell you from expirience, that shelter dogs are the most loving and loyal kind. Somehow they know. They know you saved them and are forever grateful.
“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring—it was peace.” – Milan Kundera
