I’ve been doing exhibit design for 3 years. I like it, but I’m also fearful if I continue in this direction I will never be able to get my foot into the product design world. Sadly this area doesn’t have a whole lot to offer me in the world of products. At least the company I work at gives me the opportunity to learn about the prototyping world.

Being an engineer and much of a scientist, I tend to neglect the emotional side of things, being all rational-wise.

But I must focus on design as a critical factor to do well in tech business. It’s about usability, touching emotions, growth, identity, switching costs, and loyalty.

Design matters. A lot.
