Just got back from a family vacation to Niagara Falls, Canada. It was tons of fun, and I enjoyed 85% of my trip. Our hotel had a great view, but the curtains wouldn’t close all the way, and the room got way too hot in the morning, my brother was a jerk the whole time, and there were some Italian women in the pool wearing skimpy, see-through underwear instead of bathing suits. Yuck.
On the flip side, all the attractions were fun, I had the best dinner of my entire life (at “The Keg” in the Embassy Suites hotel), and I get to cross off one more place in my list.

Sometimes travel opportunities just show up. So let me write this ‘outline’ for this goal.
Beginning next year (to allow for proper planning and saving), I will try to take one foreign vacation a year. It’s so easy to travel in the U.S. that domestic trips can be accomplished in a 3 day weekend. So the first trip will be Italy. Second, I really want to see some of the south pacific islands but that is a rather lofty goal with me being on the opposite side of the world. Let the planning begin!
Step one: determine the layout of the trip.
Step two: calculate the total possible expenses.
Step three: save up said expense amount and start choosing travel dates.

Went to vacation with my best friend and we saw the zoo and downtown and INCREDIBLE mexican food. She requests I visit New York next… My darling husband votes to go for Barbados or Albuquerque next. And I vote a vacation overseas next year! The list gets longer….
I want to see everywhere. So far my list of places I’ve seen is very limited.
I’ve been to:
Springfield, IL
River Falls, WI
Dayton, IA
Ames, IA
Lincoln, NE
Farmington, NM
Durango, CO
Gillette, WY
Casper, WY
Sundance, WY
most of SD
All of southern ND
I want to see more of the US, and other countries
absolutemusic is working.....
I want to visit as many countries around the world before i die. I want to take pictures of each place i visit and collect them into a book.
There are so many places that I have been and each and everyone has shaped me. I know that I want to continue to grow and the new perspective that expedites that process it always greater in a new place (literally)

I’d really love to see more of the world. Visit all world-class cities, like NYC, London, Berlin, Amsterdam (Although I’ve been there a couple of times), and a lot more. I looovveee cities! Shopping alot! But not just all that. I want to see anything interesting of a country, learn more about different cultures etc. With a friend of family traveling along with me.

JBRAGE asks,
“I need advice on the best way to go about this goal. Is it best to do a tour such as a contiki tour that goes through a stack of countries with a day or two in each seeing the best of that country or should I be looking at something like a self guided tou”
