I drove the car! Didn’t make it to the power plants or water towers but I got in and drove it :) Slightly odd to keep going for the gearstick and getting the window winder BUTall cars in the vicinity still have their wing mirrors, we survived and no police were involved.
The kids were in the back with the highway code in case I couldn’t read the signs (bless) and they are very proud of me. And I am very proud of me too :) 6 years ago

it’s got a name, what I want to do. It’s called Urban Exploration. There are other people doing it too. Whoohooo. Intrepid urban explorer I will be.
When i’ve finished the jobs around the house that is.
Bonus: all that reading of Andy McNab novels is going to come in useful in case I have to do it in stealth mode.
