Decorate our bedroom

I want to finish what we started in 1987 – finish remodeling our bedroom. We finished priming but never got the room finished. I need to decide what I want, how to do it, and when I want to have it finished.

Sorted out some clothes last night and didnt seem to mind getting rid of some things – this is a new thing for me because I get very emotionaly attatched to things and usually find it so stressful to throw things out.

Johnny and I built a functional BDSM rack that doubles as a coat rack.
I have hung a few pictures and it is immaculately clean in there. Now if I can only make enough tip money to buy a nice bed set…

Not everything on that last list but everything that needed doing.

All the things that tend to get left and left after the major jobs are done.

Window curtains need pressing and hemming at the correct length.
Make a pelmet for the window with trimmed off curtain material.
Make and fit curtains for wardrobe.
Trim or better still replace bedroom door.
Cover old cushions to match.
Find or make a nice little waste bin.
Patch and paint that missing bit of skirting board.

Curtain material hemed and washed so I should have no problem getting them put together and up tomorrow :o)

Carpet and curtains left to do.

And we’re out to get a new blind later.

and I got one more bracket fitted before granny came home with my daughter asleep in her stroller, so I’m now reduced to quiet activities, like posting to 43 Things ;o)
