Living as a single-income family is tough but for the time-being it’s what we’re dealing with.
I need to match the needs/wants with our income and really work to keep us on track.

The goal “manage money wisely” sounds so…I don’t know… like I’m some terrible person throwing my money around. That is not how it is.
I just want to learn to be even more thrifty (am I sounding like a grandmother??? who says thrifty???)

Bought a few new clothes for my eldest child last week and went back to the store to return some items that didn’t fit.
I noticed that all of the items that I bought last week were now on sale.
The customer service counter reimbursed me the difference since my purchase was within two weeks of the sale.
It wasn’t lots of money (only $14) but that’s a take-out medium pizza, I figure … it’s totally worth it.

I have definitely cut down on spending, or so it feels.
It feels awful when you have to use your tax return to pay off your credit card.
From now on it’s living on what we’ve got in the bank and that’s it!
