Right now Jacob is parting ways with Lot, his uncle, and has just bred the goats so that he will get all of the good offspring. Sneaky fellow.
My Bible reading is plodding along. If I’m too tired at night, I don’t read because I just started school and have to get up early. But if I get in bed before midnight, I’ll read until then. Sometimes I get in several chapters.

Got through the first chapter of Genesis last night. I figured out that if I want to read the whole Bible before Christmas, I’d have to read five pages a day. Not bad. I’m going to consider it a “Bible class”, as if it were any other school project. If people spend an hour on homework every night, certainly I can read my Bible for an hour. That beats doing homework by a mile.

JuneBug I'm hardly capable of half the damage that I would like to do...
I try to read five chapters a night, all from different parts of the Bible. It’s slow going but at least I’m reading a little bit a day. :)

I’ve started reading thru the entire Bible before using Cover2Cover (which I’d really recomend) then I went thru a bad space with God and now I’ve stopped and don’t know where or how to begin again. I just always get bored or I start off motivated then lose all motivation but I really want to read it all and not just read it but USE IT IN MY LIFE, cuz otherwise well whats the point?

Started to several times, never got very far. I’ve read the whole New Testament, but never got all the way through the Old. This year made up my mind that I would read through the entire Bible. Currently in II Samuel.
