cover the walls in my room with pictures

I found out today that this may not be something I could do. At least not for another 6 months. I’m moving in to an apartment where the walls have wallpapers on them. Since I use some kind of sticky or adhesive(..um..clay?) to get them up on the walls, it will leave stains. Therefore I cannot do this. I’m sad :(
