My parents have 2 fireplaces in their house, so I always got to sit by the fire while it was snowing (when I still lived there). It was really fun, and they were also the only 2 rooms in the entire house that were warm during the winter.
I can’t really say I’m a fan of stocking firewood or cleaning out the fireplace, though, heh…

I’ve never done this at home because it snows so rarely, but I have done this staying in a ski lodge at the snow. I have sat in front of the fire on a cold, rainy, windy, haily, sleety day though.

My fiance and I sit in front of the fire a lot during the winter. Living In PA we get lots of snow. I love snowy days. I love cuddling and snuggling with him. Just sitting there in his arms feeling the warmth of the fire on my face. knowing all is right in my little part of the world.
